In these next few albums are glimpses into places I’ve been so lucky to enjoy – both in the company of trusted souls, and in my own wandering tendancies.

None of them are complete, although I don’t think that there is much in my life that ever stops changing.

Haiku Battle

While being in Toronto I wanted to experience their poetry scene, so we ventured off on a loooong Queen Street walk, and wound up at the Fabulous! SuperMarket, where the drink was not only varied (offering plenty of bottle and draught beer, spirits, and wine), but the service was wonderful and accommodating. That's not even to mention the Jerk pork loin I had - big enough a serving to share. So besides the lovely meal, the Battle itself was quite the experience for me. The topics ranged from the sultry, sensual style of Ms. Jillian Christmas, to the humorous, light-hearted attacks of David Silverberg. I left quite inspired - I hope you enjoy! <3 Val
